Free, open-source software for a venue

A dance hall, a fairground, a field house or a civic center publishes its events and its spaces, tells visitors plainly how to get in and around, and takes booking requests that its staff approve or decline. Every event reaches search engines and calendars on its own. It runs on the venue's own Cloudflare account and never handles money. No license fees.

Early preview: the steps for a venue to run its own copy are written but not yet rehearsed by someone new. Requesters don't get email yet; they keep a reference and look up its status on the site.

What it does today

Visitors

Upcoming events with date, time, space, price and ticket link. Each space with its capacity, step-free access and the times it is already taken.

Visitors with a disability

An accessibility page in plain language: parking, entrances, seating, restrooms, hearing assistance, service animals, and who to contact.

People who want to book

A request form for a space, date and time. They get a reference and can look up whether it was approved. No payment is taken.

Staff

Sign in with an emailed link or a passkey, no passwords. Approve, decline or cancel requests with a note, hold a space for maintenance, publish events. Two approved bookings can never overlap in one space.

Six demo venues

Each town in the fictional Halcyon County has a venue running its own copy. Everything is made up and resets every hour. Choose Staff sign-in, enter any email address, and the sign-in link appears on screen.
